5 July - 6 August 2021 (1 - 5 weeks)
This programme takes place at Marymount International School in Kingston-upon-Thames where we also run a residential programme. A private coach, accompanied by our staff, collects children from a pick-up/drop-off point near Gloucester Road Underground Station, Kensington and takes them to the school. The journey takes just over 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
The campus is located on a private residential estate and is ideal for young learners. It is safe, compact and has many great facilities, all set in beautiful landscaped lawns and gardens. Classrooms are modern and well equipped. Good use is made of the IT facilities in the school library. The multi-purpose sports hall caters for a wide variety of indoor sports, including basketball, volleyball and badminton. Outdoors, there is a 5-a-side football pitch, a tennis court and lawns for other games. There is a FabLab, an art studio and a spacious auditorium where end-of-week presentations take place.
I love it here because it's nice being with people from other contries. There are loads of fun activites. English lessons are really good. You speak English all the time - I am more confident now when I speak.

Discovery Summer is fun and educational. You learn many things but it's not only playing - you get to learn in a fun way. I really like the food as I'm not from this country so it's nice to try different food. I think the staff are very nice and kind - they are not strict, they are always funny.
