Woldingham School is situated in a beautiful, secluded valley of 320 hectares in Surrey, near Oxted. It is only 25km from London, close to the M25 motorway. Gatwick is under 30 minutes away and Heathrow 45 minutes. Direct trains from London Victoria to Woldingham station take 30 minutes.

Woldingham is situated in extensive, beautiful grounds. Accommodation is of a high standard. Meals are taken in Marden House where classes are also held.

There is a modern arts centre and a state-of-the-art auditorium/DVD cinema for evening entertainment and several IT suites. Indoor sports take place in the modern sports centre. There is an indoor swimming pool, an adventure playground, tennis courts, astroturf and grass pitches for football and other sports.

TEACHING AND ACTIVITY PROGRAMME

• 30 lessons of average 45 minutes (22.5 hours per week) including English Skills and English Workshops (e.g. Discovery TV, IT/Magazine, Photo Stories, Music and Song, Shadow Puppets, Cooking, Drama)

• The Trinity Exam in Spoken English is offered (weeks 2 & 4). It is optional, but highly recommended.
• A wide variety of sports and activities offered 7 days a week
• Circus skills workshop
• 1 full-day and 1 half-day excursion per week e.g. London (river cruise, museum, St Paul's Cathedral, Hamleys), Hampton Court, Arundel Castle
• Special Sports Options - Horse-riding and Tennis (at extra cost).

• Plus: Lots of opportunities to practise English with our Resident English Student Hosts.

ACCOMMODATION AND SUPERVISION

• Attractive single study bedrooms are available in the modern Berwick House and spacious, newly refurbished 4-bedded rooms are available in the adjacent Marden House
• Staff/student 1:4 ensuring a high degree of care and close supervision
• Common rooms with TV/DVD, table football, pool
• Full board.
