Sports/Dance Academy options
15 hours' intensive sports coaching/dance each week. You may choose a different option each week or continue the same one for a maximum of 2 weeks. All subject to availability
All levels, boys only – on site (£85/week).
UEFA qualified coaches lead our football programme. Training is adapted for different levels and includes fitness, individual skills, tactics and sports psychology sessions. Matches
against local English teams are arranged, as are chances to meet professional players.

This exciting course, led by fully trained dance professionals is held on the stage of the School's Ashton Theatre and includes jazz, street, tap and musical theatre routines. Different genres are introduced each day
leading to a costumed performance at the end of each week.
All levels – on site; hard courts. (£85/week).
Our team of coaches work with small groups at different levels, coaching on all aspects of the game, technical and tactical, plus video analysis. Physical and coordination exercises and drills. Sessions on sports psychology. Tournament day at the end of the week.
Beginner to intermediate level (Advanced level coaching available on request)– off site (£160/week).
This programme, run at the Shrewsbury Golf Course, is ideal as an introduction to golf or for those who already play to a good level. Instruction is given by golf professionals on the covered driving range, the pitching/putting greens and on the 3,9 and 18-hole golf courses.
All aspects of the game are covered, including swing, stance and grip as well as an introduction to long and short play.
All levels – off site (£200/week).
This excellent Equestrian Centre offers a challenging programme to riders of all abilities. All aspects of horse management are covered. Manege work is designed to help you gain confidence in handling your horse in a variety of situations e.g. hacking, jumping, dressage and cross-country.

If you enjoy many different sports and challenges then our Adventure Sports experience is the course for you!
Activities include quad-biking, mountain boarding, abseiling and high ropes, canoeing, archery and target shooting. In addition we offer team-building challenges, coaching in e.g. basketball, tag rugby, hockey. Each morning you will try different activities.
All are designed to improve your confidence, personal fitness, stamina and performance level.
