Non-residential morning or afternoon
courses in Kensington
Our intensive, multi-national English language courses are held in one teaching building in Kensington and run from late June to mid-August. Courses start each Monday and students may study in the mornings (09:00-12:30) or afternoons (13:30-17:00) for 1 to 7 weeks.
The college, Collingham, is in a leafy garden square, five minutes' walk from Gloucester Road and Earl's Court Underground stations.

Levels: beginners to advanced (CEF A1 - C1)
This innovative programme is task based and designed to bring English alive!
- Each week you'll visit a local museum (Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum) with your teacher. You'll follow this us by working on a project e.g. Insects, Volcanoes, Kings & Queens, Outer Space
- Maximum 12 students per class
- Testing and grading on arrival (some pre-testing available)
- Beginners accepted
- You will be studying with students of a similar age
- Your progress will be monitored. At the end of your course, you will be tested, given an end-of-course report and presented with a Discovery Summer certificate.
- We welcome students from over 40 different countries each year
*NB: Children aged 5-6 years will only be accepted on the course if their parent/guardian/sibling is also studying at the school.
Levels: elementary to advanced (CEF A2 - C1)
Our intensive, structured English classes will help you improve your grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and listening skills. Classes are taught by experienced teachers with different areas of expertise.
A detailed needs analysis is carried out before the course begins to ensure the programme matches your expectations.
- Small groups (maximum 8 per class) for individual attention
- Pre-course level testing and needs analysis
- No beginners
- Weekly Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) class
- Project work (e.g. film making) included in the teenage programme
- Weekly social activity (at extra cost approx. £10) with staff and fellow students to enjoy the sights of London.
- Your progress will be monitored. At the end of the course, you will be tested, given an end-of-course report and presented with a Discovery Summer certificate.
One-to-one classes are also offered at extra cost. These can take place in the morning or afternoon, subject to availability.
