For the sports/dance mad

A Discovery programme for the super-active! On five mornings per week, we offer three hours' intensive sports coaching or dance instruction. English classes take place on five afternoons (and one morning) per week after which there is time to enjoy other sports or relax in the swimming pool. Lively and entertaining activities take place after dinner every night.

Sports sessions are led by experienced, qualified coaches. Off site centres are approved by relevant national associations. Levels are assessed at the beginning of each week and a test or tournament held at the end of each week. Some sports are coached off site (e.g. golf, horse-riding and Ultimate Sports). All sports are subject to availability so book early!

King's School, Ely

King's School, Ely was founded over 1,000 years ago. King Edward the Confessor, who died in 1066, was educated in the magnificent buildings around Ely Cathedral which are still used by the school today.

The school is located in the city, 20km north of Cambridge and 125km north of London. It has excellent facilities for study, recreation and sport. On site facilities include an artificial grass pitch, five hard tennis courts, indoor sports hall, outdoor swimming pool and extensive playing fields. The closest airport is Stansted (just under one hour); London Heathrow is approximately two hours' away.
